Bought a PSP for First Departure and the soon to be re-released second story on handheld, but Crisis Core (played it, love it), Dissidia and now this coming in the future makes this RPG freak a fan of the PSP. Love it!
This looks interesting! I think it could turn out to be the sleeper best of the group! We'll see, it's really flying under the radar!
I agree, owner of both consoles, that the PS3 is unfairly beaten down by the media...and yet it keeps chugging along. ANd why not? It's got great games.
Software support is...decent. Love Star Ocean: First Departure.
Seriously, just *sigh*
were articles like this out last-gen when Nintendo and Microsoft got ownwed by Sony. Nope. Just gotta take down the king, right? What a great collective effort.
Look so much better than this and do the visuals better justice.
won't take 20-60 seconds to load up this game then eh?
Beautiful or not, Lost Oddysee felt like a long-loading, long-winded SNES gameplay title structured by a shiny unreal engine incapable of loading textures on time or not making Kaim look like he has a stick up his arse when running.
I love RPGs, but LO was a total letdown.
This game looks incredible.
But notice how (at the time I posted this) this story has no heat? Good news for Sony = no news allowed by the n4g community. The X-Fans can't troll this one, so it gets no attention.
GREAT news for Sony. Good to see solid software numbers. I bought 4 games in November and will be buying 2-3 more this month.
I mean seriously, it totally got owned by Mass Effect in November 2007 sales and...
....oh look, it's within a few thousand of topping Mass Effect in lifetime sales. OOPS! I guess games that spread by word of mouth and have legs actually DO sell over the long run. Anyone see a price drop for Uncharted? No such luck yet in Canada. LBP is at a million now. I'm saying at least 2.5 million lifetime. That seems to be how Sony works these days without massive advertising.
Maybe I'm a fool, but do you really think we should consider the console war XBOX360 vs PS3 battle to be the real deal, or should it be Sony vs Nintendo all the way? Sony, is obviously losing that war, but seriously, hear me out.
XBOX360 has a built-in crowd, a massive American audience that the console and its software cater to. Yes, Microsoft is TRYING to push RPGs, and is failing miserably. The JRPG is JAPANESE-RPG for a reason you know. Not only who makes em', but who buys ...
Who truly knows if their consoles are profitable, if they're happy with their sales, if the numbers are meeting forecasts or if they're gonna cut their console's lives short, hmmm?
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Not fanboy A, fanboy B or C
Also, not VGChartz, not Patcher, not 1up.com....Sony, Micrsoft and Nintendo.
Are Nintendo and Microsoft's sales impressive? INDEED. Is Sony's terrible? In comparison, maybe, but maybe they're good to Sony.
...
he means that in 2005 it would be acceptable to release a non-functional service to gamers that crashes upon download. Like it was acceptable in 2005 to release a console capable of killing itself.
Vaan...well, he was about as cliche a male RPG lead as any...except no stressed love angle to make me even remotely care for his existence like Tidus.
You don't get to play this AAA now exclusive! BWAHAHAHA!
...oh wait.
Then again, NXE also screwed up very badly at launch with a few things...but it was forgivable more so because Microsoft aren't as consistent in launch floppage as Sony has been lately.
Cause you can't even get into home to see your avatar...
So you all fail!
Please consider that these online failure to initalize are now EXTREMELY common for Sony products. This, LBP, SOCOM, Resistance 1 (2 at times) and Warhawk are all great examples and 3rd party games, especially from Ubisoft just love to flop on the PSN. That's why we're all a little ticked at this shiet again.
Judging by Sony's track record with SOCOM, Warhawk and LBP, I give this one 4 weeks to achieve server stability...and that's just the beta.
So, have at er'
That's our one piece of info for the year folks! Enjoy!
Not quite as consistent for Live or PC gaming mate.
Good to know that Obama-centric CNN is also a bunch of Microsoft fanboys. Bill Gates must have given Wolf Blitzer a big-a$$ cheque during that Situation Room interview "psst, psst, bash Sony!"
PS3 is fine. PSP is even better. Oh noes! It's being beaten by DS in sale! IT HAS A 40+ MILLION INSTALL AGAINST NIN-FN-TENDO in the handheld market dumb foob!
*sigh* ignorant media strikes again. Anyone wanna guess how much money Sony makes on each PSP sold? Anyon...
